I spent the day moving dirt away from the edges of the pit, ready to excavate some more. It was a beautiful day, mid 70's with a nice ocean breeze. I've had to replace one hydraulic hose that was leaking on the backhoe and reseat the differential fill screw...easy peasy. Next project is to lengthen the ramp so that it reaches all the way to the bottom of the pit.
