Today was very exciting...I did some more digging! I got an early start and managed to dig out most of the pit down to about 7 feet.. only 4 ish feet to go. The local wildlife seemed very interested in my excavation. I pulled out another very large boulder.

  1. That's a lot of digging you're doing. Are you having to remove the spoil from site? When do you get to put things in the holes?

v.jealous of the blue skies, we have just had rain for months. Hope to see you at Xmas. P

  2. The spoil stays on site and is being used to fill in a gully so there will be an extra flat area down by the containers. When the hole is fully dug it gets filled with sand and gravel in different layers thereby filtering the poopy water coming out of our septic tanks.
The blue skies are very nice but tomorrow is a "red flag " fire danger day and it will be almost 40 degrees centigrade with a brisk 30mph plus wind, I will have to remember to moisturize my eyeballs!
The boys are very excited about the trip...they keep saying "bangers and mash".
