May 20 2015. Cutting and Grading the Driveway

I've spent the past two days cutting the dirt out of the back of the property where the barn will be and moving the dirt by dump truck to the entrance driveway. I've been doing 6-8 inch lifts and compacting with the fully loaded dump truck...very effective compaction!
I still have a few more loads to go.

The Main Drains Are In 21/04/15

Todays progress included connecting the sewer pipe to the septic tank for the main house. This was a little tricky but turned out perfect. The upright pipe in the picture are 4" pipes as cleanouts connected to the 6" sewer pipe. All the septic piping is 6" diameter which will mean that they will be almost impossible to clog. The pipes for the drains are 4", 6" and 8" and connect to the grated drop boxes.

Last Drain In 040215

Placed the last drain at the entrance of the property and moved some of the big rocks over to make room for the driveway.
Now I just need to connect the two front drains with 6" pipe.
