It's almost May! Some progress to report. The "bunker" has been cut down to the correct dimensions and I will be notching it for I beams and then placing forms along the top to even it out which will let me put a simple corrugated steel and concrete roof on top. The doorway will be closed off with poured concrete. There will also be holes cast in this pour for the geothermal lines. I did discover a sump for the bunker...quite an extensive one which leads me to believe that this area was once the wine cellar for the original house that was never completed.
The tent was our vacation project with the kids...
