The end of the beginning...
Five years following our purchase of "the land" - we finally have approval to start construction!
Since Faisal and I have only each other to talk to about all of our ideas and plans for the building of our LEED certified, net-zero passive (wannabe) house - we thought it would be fun to include others in the conversation.
Why?
To get ideas and share our experiences along the way.
We're lucky to have architects as in-laws, however Faisal will serve as the general contractor for the project. First time....learning along the way.
We'll share our thoughts and experiences and, perhaps, our boys (3 of them -ages 1, 8 & 10) will share theirs.
Welcome to our world for the next few years.....
